Investigation of distinctive physico-chemical soil correlations for Kirkuk city using spatial analysis technique incorporated with statistical modeling

Abstract In the sense of challenging economic situation, it is difficult to perform laboratory tests in a whole intended area define soil characteristics for whatever task or situation within an entire city. Hence, this study has used spatial analysis through applying inverse distance weighted (IDW) technique integrate with available data 56 different samples collected from various depths Kirkuk The studied were mainly classified physical properties included gravel, sand, silt, and clay contents chemical organic gypsum contents, pH content, sulfur trioxide, total dissolved solids (TDS) content. Moreover, statistical investigations such as physico-chemical correlation, linear single multi regression models have been applied. results focused on constructing thematic digital maps visualizing soil. analysis, negative correlations are obtained relation between values pH, gypsum, organic, SO3 increase gravel whereas positive correlation attained TDS content Furthermore, proposed model predicts reasonably where most close equality line. accompanied will provide comprehensive spatial, agricultural, mechanical visualizations nature morphology soils
